Three WVU School of Nursing faculty members attended and presented a poster at the national Anatomage Conference in Santa Clara, California, in July.
Amy Miner and Drs. Kendra Barker and Stacy Huber presented, "Beyond Observation: Elevating Advanced Assessment Skills through Virtual Anatomy Exploration," during the two-day conference, July 23-24, which featured hands-on workshops and networking opportunities focused on best practices for integrating Anatomage Tables into the WVU School of Nursing curriculum.

The Anatomage Table is an advanced, real-human-based 3D anatomy and medical education system. This state-of-the-art platform provides access to digitized human cadavers, innovative learning tools, and immersive 3D anatomical experiences that enhance medical education and training.
WVU currently has two Anatomage Tables located within the Health Sciences Center and one table on the CAMC campus. During the Spring 2026 on-campus sessions for Nurse Anesthesia and Nurse Practitioner students, these tables were used to demonstrate and compare normal and abnormal pathological and anatomical structures, enriching students' learning of complex clinical concepts.

Faculty interested in incorporating the Anatomage Table into their teaching are encouraged to contact Amy Miner at alminer@hsc.wvu.edu or Dr. Stacy Huber at swhuber@hsc.wvu.edu for additional information and support.
