Community health event supports women’s heart health
As part of National Heart Month, a faith community nurse and a WVU School of Nursing student led an educational event in McDowell County to support women’s heart health.
Prepared to begin providing excellent patient care in their communities, West Virginia University School of Nursing BS/BA to Bachelor of Science in Nursing students recently earned a 100% pass rate on the national licensure exam on their first attempt.
The WVU School of Nursing offers accredited undergraduate and graduate level programs on five campuses and online.
The focus of West Virginia University School of Nursing's research is reducing health disparities among rural Appalachians. It is through this ongoing work with adults, families, and communities that WVU's nurse researchers are positively impacting the health of West Virginians.
