Deborah Sindy Suttle, who graduated from the WVU School of Nursing with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1967, was recently recognized by the Nebraska Nurse Honor Guard for her career as a nurse.
Suttle, along with the other nurses at her retirement community, were recognized during the Nurses Week ceremony. A wide range of degrees and areas were represented.
“It was quite moving, and I was so proud when they announced my name and my School of Nursing: West Virginia University,” Suttle said.
