Keyser Campus hosts job fair for graduating seniors

KEYSER, W.Va. — The West Virginia University School of Nursing Keyser Campus recently hosted a job fair at the J. Edward Kelley Complex for their graduating senior students.

Ashley Madia, MSN, RN, CHFN, CNL, Nurse Manager for 6 Southeast at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, spoke to students about tips for success in nursing as they transition from student to graduating nurse. The 18 seniors then rotated through five different stations to discuss employment opportunities among area healthcare facilities.

Eleven clinical agencies attended the event, including representatives from WVU Medicine Potomac Valley Hospital; WVU Medicine Garrett Regional Medical Center; WVU Medicine J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital; Grant Memorial Hospital; Stonerise Keyser; Mon Health System; Complete Care at Dawnview; UPMC Western Maryland; Valley Health Hampshire Memorial Hospital; Valley Health Winchester Medical Center; and Veteran’s Administration Martinsburg.
