The WVU School of Nursing welcomes Kimberly Colebank as its new development director.
Colebank joined the School of Nursing after working as Interim Dean of University Relations and Student Experience at WVU Potomac State College, where she was responsible for development, alumni relations, marketing, communications, enrollment, student life, and student activities.
Prior to her time at WVU PSC, Colebank worked as a vice president, a chief communications officer, a development/foundation executive director, state program executive director, and was the founding director of the WVU Center for Civic Engagement (now the Center for Community Engagement).
With a doctorate in Educational Leadership, a master’s degree in English, and a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, she describes her past and experience as being “as varied as the hills and valleys of West Virginia itself.”
“My history with the university, my passion for our students and our programs, as well as my desire to help you find the resources you need to be able to create the most innovative, engaging experiences for our students makes me your valuable partner at the WVU School of Nursing,” Colebank said.
She encourages folks to contact her about any ideas or projects, as well as any resource needs.
“I’m here to fundraise; that much is certainly true! But, in doing so, I’m here to build partnerships which can launch us forward and expand our ability to improve the lives of West Virginians through the work that you are doing every single day.”
