WVU School of Nursing faculty member nominated for Platinum Level Nurse of the Year at WVU Medicine

Marian Longstreth, a WVU School of Nursing faculty member, has received the 2022 Nomination for Platinum Level Nurse of the Year at WVU Medicine.

She was nominated by her peers at WVU Medicine for all her hard work. In her nomination, her peers specifically noted her Doctor of Nursing Practice project work. She has been working on a project related to a rapid response program in the clinical setting.

WVU Health Sciences graduate students lead diabetes education program at local church

In a collaborative effort to tackle diabetes in the community, graduate students from the WVU School of Nursing and Health Sciences teamed up to provide crucial education at Suncrest United Methodist Church.
