Startup invites health professionals and public to opening Oct. 4
President E. Gordon Gee will officially welcome healthcare startup Good Measures to the WVU Health Sciences Innovation Center, at an open house from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Oct. 4. The Boston-based company established an office earlier this year WVU, located in the Blanchette Rockefeller Neurosciences Center building on the Health Sciences campus.

WVU School of Nursing to offer faith community nursing education program

During the past 10 years there has been an enhanced interest from healthcare professionals to address the unique needs of these organizations. To address this growing area of specialization within the nursing community, the West Virginia University School of Nursing will launch a new faith community nursing certificate course in fall 2016.
