WVU School of Nursing faculty member chosen for sixth IDEA Fellows cohort

Five new WVU faculty members, including Heather Carter-Templeton with the WVU School of Nursing, have been selected by the Office of the Provost following a rigorous application process as the recipients of the 2022-24 Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship Applied Faculty Fellowship, a multi-disciplinary initiative to bolster WVU’s culture of entrepreneurship and innovation.

Former WVU interim provost, dean establishes School of Nursing scholarship

Graduate students in the West Virginia University School of Nursing’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program will benefit from a new scholarship established by alumna and longtime dean E. Jane Martin. Martin contributed $100,000 to create the namesake scholarship, which will be awarded to nurse practitioners pursuing a post-master’s certificate in psychiatric mental health.
