Vision

We strive to be a premier provider of web based continuing education (CE) and other professional development opportunities to nurses across the state of WV and beyond. 

Mission

To improve health outcomes of the population served by providing evidenced based professional development activities, led by our faculty and guests who are experts in their clinical area.

Goals

  • Collaborate with partners to create high quality, evidenced based learning opportunities.

  • Communicate with nurses across the state of WV to identify learning needs.

  • Foster relationships in academic – medical center partnerships.

Accreditation

The West Virginia University School of Nursing is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
