Accreditation Outcome Data for DNP Nurse Anesthetist Program
To comply with accreditation standards of the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA), all nurse anesthesia programs are required to publish outcome data including attrition of the class during enrollment in the program; first-time pass rates of each cohort sitting for the National Certification Examination (NCE) administered by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA); and employment of the program's graduates as nurse anesthetists within 6 months of graduation.

The minimum NCE first-time pass rate standard for all programs is 80%. The WVU DNP Nurse Anesthetist Program met the standard with its first cohort of students.
