Stephanie Young, a WVU School of Nursing clinical assistant professor, was accepted and recently participated in the Fall/Winter 2023 National League for Nursing Scholarly Writing Retreat.
During the 2023 West Virginia Rural Health Conference, Dr. Melanie Whelan presented “Attitudes Towards Persons with Disabilities among Dental, Medical and Nursing Students.” The study was conducted by Dr. Veronica Gallo, Dr. Whelan and Dr. Kerri Woodberry.
During the conference “Building a Healthier Appalachia: Collaborative Solutions to Substance Use Disorders Across the Region,” WVU School of Nursing faculty member Dr. Kendra Barker presented a poster focused on how advanced practice nurses can help patients with substance use disorder.
Dr. April Shapiro, Keyser Campus Chair, has been awarded tenure and promoted to the rank of Associate Professor.
