A Trans Safe Zone Training session will be held Oct. 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. via Zoom, hosted in collaboration between the WVU School of Nursing, WVU LGBTQ+ Center and Suncrest United Methodist Church.
This training is designed to provide a supportive and educational space where participants can learn about creating inclusive environments for transgender individuals. Topics will include understanding gender identity, promoting respectful communication, and fostering safe, affirming spaces in both healthcare and community settings.
Anyone interested in being an ally and advocate for the trans community is invited join for this important session.
