To enhance the educational experience of nursing students, the WVU School of Nursing Keyser Campus recently unveiled a new high fidelity manikin. Equipped with a fetus to teach proper prepartum, labor, delivery and postpartum care, as well as clinical situations unrelated to maternity, the manikin will assist students in practicing hands-on patient care in a simulated setting.
Designed to create a direct pathway for licensed practical nurses to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, the WVU School of Nursing’s LPN to BSN program will begin accepting applications Dec. 1.
