Ambassador Program
Selected students must attend and assist with SON/WVU events for prospective students and work four office hours each non-event week in the Office of Student Services or elsewhere within SON to receive the scholarship.
Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP)
Mitigate high-tier program costs through structured institutional partnerships. Graduate-level paths have direct access to specialized initiatives like the Nurse Faculty Loan Program, providing up to $40,000 per academic period—with up to 85% of the total loan completely canceled in exchange for post-graduation service roles. NFLP is a federal program designed to increase the number of nursing students who pursue careers as full-time faculty teaching in schools of nursing.
Conway Scholars
Lower your out-of-pocket graduate costs through private philanthropic endowments designed to reduce advanced education debt. Funded by a landmark $2.6 million grant from the Bedford Falls Foundation, this initiative delivers targeted, high-value scholarship allocations explicitly reserved for PhD in Nursing lines and high-priority BSN advancement tracks.
