Conway Scholars Program
Lower your out-of-pocket graduate costs through private philanthropic endowments designed to reduce advanced education debt. Funded by a landmark $2.6 million grant from the Bedford Falls Foundation, this initiative delivers targeted, high-value scholarship allocations explicitly reserved for PhD in Nursing lines and high-priority BSN advancement tracks.
Through the Conway Scholars Program, LPN to BSN, PhD in Nursing, or Arellano University-International Nursing partner program students are eligible to become Conway Scholars and receive a scholarship during their time at the our school.
The $2.6 million grant from the Bedford Falls Foundation helps address nursing workforce challenges in West Virginia and beyond. The grant funds support coordinated philanthropic efforts by Bedford Falls founders William “Bill” Conway and his late wife, Joanne Barkett Conway. The Bedford Falls Foundation supports a variety of charitable causes, with a particular focus on nursing education. The Bedford Falls Foundation grant was awarded through the WVU Foundation, the nonprofit organization that receives and administers private donations on behalf of the University.
