• Chemistry with Lab - CHEM 111/111L or CHEM 115/115L or 60% on TEAS Exam in Science (4 credits)

  • Portage Learning: CHEM103 (= CHEM 115/115L)

• Microbiology - MICB 200 or AEM341 (3 or 4 credits)

  • Portage Learning: BIO 271 (= AEM 216, approved by SoN)

• Human Anatomy with lab (or A&P 1) - PALM 205/206, PALM 207, ATTR 219, EXPH 440/441, BIOL 393B, or BIOL 230/230L (4 credits)

  • Portage Learning: BIOL251 (= BIOL 230/230L)

• Human Physiology with lab (or A&P 2) - PSIO 107, PSIO 241, BIOL 117/117L, PSIO 441, or BIOL 231 (4 credits)

  • Portage Learning: BIOL252 (= BIOL 231/231L)

• Psychology - PSYC 101 or PSYC 241 (3 credits)

  • Portage Learning: PSYC101 (= PSYC 101)

• Statistics - STAT 211 or ECON 225 (3 credits)

  • Portage Learning: MATH110 (= STAT 211)

All prerequisite courses must be successfully completed prior to beginning this program of study. Students may still apply for the program while completing prerequisite courses. A minimum grade ≥ C- is required in all prerequisite courses. All international applicants are required to meet University standards for English proficiency which may include testing and/or English Composition course requirements. Students completing prerequisites at an institution other than WVU should utilize the transfer database to determine eligible courses or have courses pre-approved by the Office of the University Registrar.
