Why do you want to be a nurse?

Since I was young, I’ve always known that I wanted to be a nurse. Being able to advocate and to make a difference for people is something that is important in today's healthcare environment and especially important to me.

What does the Pledge Ceremony mean to you?

The Pledge Ceremony was one of the things I have been looking forward to since high school. To me, it was an introduction to the study of nursing and from this point on I pledge to be the best nurse that I can be.

Why did you choose WVU School of Nursing?

The opportunities that this school offers in not only education but also in the community are something that I felt was irreplaceable.

What do you hope to do after graduation?

After graduation I plan to be a travel nurse. Once I finish traveling, I would like to further my education and become a Nurse Practitioner.
