Meet Bella B.

Meet Bella Bock, one of the WVU School of Nursing Ambassadors for the Morgantown Campus.
"I wanted to be a SON ambassador because it give me the opportunity to showcase how rewarding it is to be a part of the nursing family here at WVU, while also sharing my own experiences to support and guide others through this amazing journey," Bock shared.
"I chose to become a nurse because I have always wanted to help and advocate for those who cannot help themselves. Through nursing, I am fulfilling that dream and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others."
She said the best advice she has for high school students interested in nursing is to attend a Discover Day at WVU to learn more about the nursing program and ask questions.
"The main message I want prospective nursing students to know about the WVU SON is that we truly are a family. The support you receive from faculty, staff, and peers is incredible and everyone is committed to helping you succeed every step of the way."
After graduation, she plans to work in the ICU, and to later further her education to become a nurse practitioner or nurse anesthetist.
"The nursing profession is incredibly rewarding, and I love it more each and every day. Through the WVU SON, I feel confident and prepared to step into practice and care for my own patients in the near future."
